Lush: Bubble Bars

Hey all!

I stumbled upon a Lush store in Melbourne a few months back. I'd heard about lush from a few bloggers and vloggers online and was pretty keen to give it a go.
Here's a list of the bubble bars that I have tried/purchased so far.

Bubble Bar
I was really intrigued by the idea of a bubble bar. You get two uses out of each bar. Just crumble it up and mix it into the bath water as it is pouring. Swoosh the water around with your hand to make it bubble up more. The bubbles last a long time and add a beautiful moisturising quality to the water.

Yuzu & Cocoa Bubbleroon

I love skincare with Yuzu in it. It has a beautiful orange scent. This bar left me smelling gorgeous, and feeling invigorated and relaxed at the same time.

The Comforter

Lush say that this is a top seller and it's no surprise. It smells amazing! Like berries!
I shared this with a friend while we were away recently. We stayed in a great cabin on the Murray river, the only down side was that the water was sourced straight from the river, so when she wanted a bath, she needed a little extra something to improve the smell. This did just the trick!

Rose Jam Bubbleroon
$6.50

The rose jam bubbleroon has a similar effect to the yuzu & cocoa roon, but with a different smell. This one has quite a sweet scent, which I like, but I imagine it could be a bit sickly to other people.

Freedom Foamer
(no longer available on the website)

I believe these were specially developed to promote gay rights. Unfortunately Australia is yet to recognise gay marriage (get your s**t together government officials!). I haven't used this yet, in fact this is the first time I have taken it out of the bag and you can see the glitter fall-out on my fingers. I might use this before a night out! It have a lovely, fresh citrus scent.

That's all of the bubble bars I have bought. I'll do separate posts for other Lush products I have used.

My wish list:
Hot Milk
Karma
Ruby Red Slippers
Though I'm pretty sure I would love to try them all!

I'm off to write a  short essay on patient dignity. If only I could waterproof my laptop and write it in the bath. I hope this post inspires you to take a bath! It's the perfect relief from all the cold weather we have down here.

  1. I adore bubble bars by lush. My husband often buys me gift boxes of them. Will have to try some of these. :)
